Adding a little extra dimension to your vacations, family celebrations, and everyday experiences is easier than you think. The LG 360 CAM, paired with the LG G5, can make any occasion extra special.

The LG 360 CAM and LG G5 unite to bring you into the 360-degree video space, also known as immersive videos or spherical videos, where a view in every direction is recorded at the same time.

To begin, you’ll need to download the LG 360 CAM app, and connect the 360 CAM to your LG G5 smartphone. Next, after adjusting some settings, you’ll use Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi, which allows you to find a host of additional resources and controls to get the results you want.

Once you’re up and running, taking 2K video and 13MP photos is easy. I used the LG G5 screen as the viewer while taking the 36-degree video. It’ll take some getting used to, and coordination using the two together, but soon enough you’ll be hooked and want to get 360-degree video every where you go. If you want photos that are a higher resolution, the LG G5 phone takes 16MP photos and has an internal storage of 32GB.

I especially like how compact the LG 360 CAM is — it fits nicely in a pocket or a bag. It’s designed as a stand-alone camera with 4 GB internal memory, two 13MP wide-angle cameras and three 5.1-channel surround-sound microphones. The LG 360 CAM is Android and iOS compatible and makes capturing 360-degree images as easy as clicking a button. No fuss at all. Note: You will need to buy a microSD card to hold your data from the LG 360 CAM.

Another sweet perk is you can easily share projects created with your LG 360 CAM to sites like Google Street View™ and YouTube™ 360 °. You can also view your 360-degree images on the LG 360 VR or other devices capable of delivering 360 ° content. This makes sharing and storing your 360 projects super easy!
