The 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring: Tech, Comfort, and Safety
Mazda's new tech, connects communication and provides a smoother ride
Buckle up, turn up the tunes, and hit the road in a new 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring.
The Mazda6 highlights a Mazda-exclusive technology — G-Vectoring Control (GVC) — that uses the engine in conjunction with the steering, throttle inputs, and suspension to provide sharper control. This all-new tech allows for fewer steering corrections, which helps you be the best driver you can be.
Stay easily connected in the 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring with all of your music and information through MAZDA CONNECT™. The infotainment system allows you to stay in control of messages and music via the full-color touch screen. The Bose® Centerpoint® Surround Sound Audio System is sure to keep you entertained, especially with 11 speakers and a woofer.
Feeling a little extra? Try on the Premium Package for size. It includes a black headliner and heated steering wheel with traditional Japanese chidori stitching, similar to what can be found in CX-9 Signature models. The Premium Package also features heated rear outboard seats, a i-ELOOP regenerative braking technology, and a bright metallic finish to switches and trim throughout the interior.
The thicker front glass blocks wind noise; improved door seals, tighter tolerance between panels and sound insulation materials added to the underbody drastically lessen noise, vibration, and harshness.
Need all your favorite safety features? The 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring includes Smart City Brake Support that detects objects ahead and adjusts your brakes, if needed. The Distance Recognition Support System also lets you know if another vehicle is too close. A super helpful feature I didn’t know I needed is the Traffic Sign Recognition System. It reads road signs such as Speed Limit, Stop, and Do Not Enter and it automatically shows up in the Active Driving Display, so you can stay alert and informed without taking your eyes off the road.
