Learning software for Product Design has always had quite a learning curve. Tinkercad has created an experience that can introduce any non-professional into the world of design (electronics and 3D) and become the first step into a career in STEAM. This is also a great opportunity to learn a product that you can use with your kids at home and make them familiar with opportunities in STEAM from the very early years.

Guillermo has spent the last 16 years working as Product Manager on different products at Autodesk, including Fusion 360, Tinkercad, AutoCAD, the Autodesk Collections, Revit, 123D product line, and Meshmixer. As the Global Lead for Autodesk Latinx Network, he’s also passionate about increasing diversity in STEAM-related careers. Guillermo got a degree in Architecture in his home country Uruguay and became a professor and consultant before joining Autodesk in 2006. 

Prerequisites:

• Please visit www.tinkercad.com and create a free account before the workshop.
• Tinkercad works on any browser, although we recommend Chrome.
• The minimum screen size would be an iPad mini. Ideal experience on laptops, Chromebooks, or iPads (updates iOS).
• You can also download Tinkercad on Google Play and Apple Store for free.
