This workshop aims to help participants create a thorough and engaging LinkedIn profile while learning strategies to build their personal brand on LinkedIn. By the end of the workshop, participants will have been exposed to the key elements of an effective profile and to several strategies to build their personal brand.

Learn how LinkedIn can work for you. Be prepared to learn hands-on tips with this interactive session. This workshop will focus on crafting a compelling profile, learning how to leverage your network, and tuning the LinkedIn feed to help you see content that matters to you. You will learn how to publish on LinkedIn, tap into your creative self and make your profile rock! You will learn to craft a stunning summary to tell the story of your accomplishments, projects, and skills. Get ready to complete your LinkedIn Profile and you will even stun yourself of your awesomeness.

Instructors
Rae Hoyt Manager, Content Production – Technology Video Library, LinkedIn Learning Rae Hoyt is a lifelong learner and educator. She works for LinkedIn as a Manager of Content Production for the Technology library of LinkedIn Learning. She leads a team of 6 producers who partner with subject matter experts to create incredible learning content at scale. Rae is an active member of AAUW (the American Association of University Women) and a fierce advocate for women’s equity. She’s volunteers with numerous student and professional organizations to share knowledge, empower individuals, and fortify communities.

Sal Rosales, Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft – Sal is a Sr. Premier Field Engineer based in San Diego, California. He has been with Microsoft for 7 years. Sal has been recognized as a highly-skilled expert on Office 365, focusing on SharePoint, Flow, PowerApps, and OneDrive for Business. He frequently conducts community outreach workshops to under-represented communities. In his free time, he enjoys working out for half-marathons and triathlons. Participating in these events not only offers a change of pace from work but also helps spur his growth mindset of jumping out of his comfort zone. ********************************
