Ruby Sherman is an accomplished IT Group Manager at Intuit, with an unyielding passion for technology and how it can be leveraged to enhance people’s lives. In addition to her primary role at Intuit, Ruby is the Latino Employee Resource group leader for the San Diego chapter, where she actively advocates for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
As a mentor for underrepresented minority high school students with a passion for STEM, Ruby has helped to bridge the gap between education and opportunity. She is committed to helping these students achieve their goals, realize their full potential, and see that there is a place for them in tech.
Ruby is excited to represent #LatinaGeeks, where she can continue to support the elevation and creation of space for more Latinas in the tech industry. Her dedication to creating a more diverse and inclusive tech landscape is reflected in her ongoing efforts to inspire and empower young people or people with non-traditional backgrounds.
