Amanda was born and raised in Long Beach, California. She graduated from University of California Riverside in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Literature. It was in her undergraduate career that she took an active role in her community. Amanda was a proud member of a local non-profit organization, Mujeres Unidas. She later volunteered with Inland Mujeres; an organization dedicated to making the arts accessible in the Inland Empire.
Over the years, Amanda developed her graphic design skills through social media. Her social media presence won her the Adelita Award in 2019 (Mujeres Unidas). She has since donated her skills to various community organizations focused on women empowerment and Latin issues.
Amanda is a proud #LatinaGeeks member. She looks forward to seeing her community thrive across all fields.
