Amy Carney leads a multi-disciplinary design team responsible for transforming Sales and Customer Success at Intuit. Her team contributes research, service design and product design to the Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) that now supports over 50 million customers and has driven billions in revenue for the company over the last five years since VEP fueled the launch of Intuit’s fasting growing product in history, TurboTax Live. Some recent innovations Amy has touched on include Intuit Enterprise Suite a solution for Mid Market Businesses, Intuit Assist a Generative AI capability, and an Immersive Experience Studio to observe how experts and customers use our experiences. This in-person space is located on Intuit’s San Diego campus, and the model is set to scale to Mountain View.
Amy Carney holds a Master of Design from IIT’s Institute of Design and an MBA from the Stuart School of Business, where she cultivated a unique ability to bridge human-centered design with business strategy. Originally from Chicago, she now applies her expertise in San Diego by way of Seattle, crafting solutions that balance user needs and market realities.
When she’s not solving design challenges, Amy enjoys international travel, outdoor running, and exploring Art Deco architecture. Most importantly, she treasures her time with her son, Aidan, whose curiosity and creativity inspire her every day.
