Diana Fuentes is the Deputy Director of Legislative Services in the Office of the City Clerk for the City of San Diego. Diana believes that access and fair process are the fundamentals for creating good policy within local government. In addition to her work with the City of San Diego she volunteers as an Advisory Board Member for Latina Geeks and has assisted with preparation of the Girls Empowerment Conference over the last several years. She was also awarded a Cambridge’s Who’s Who among Executive and Young Professionals from 2010- 2014, the Legislative Lounge Award from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2015, and most recently received a Commendation for her work as Vice President of the Latino City Employees Association in 2019.

Diana holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University and has completed some Masters work in Public Administration from San Diego State University. She enjoys family road trips and any sort of travel and experiences she can share with her husband, Christopher and two young children.
