Diana Iracheta is a strong advocate for Latinas in Engineering. As a recent grad, she launched Latina Engineer in 2019 in hopes to connect with other Ingenierias. This network has grown to over 14,000. Through Latina Engineer, she shares her journey and creates resources for students and young professionals in hopes to increase the representation of Latinas in Engineering. In 2020, she founded the International Latina Engineer Week (ILEW) conference, a celebration for Latinas pursuing careers in STEM. In 2021, she started the Diana Iracheta Foundation NFP to create scholarships for minorities in STEM. So far, she has awarded $5,000 in scholarships and hosted over 650 attendees through ILEW.

Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, and works as a Manufacturing Engineer, focused on Automation design at Amsted Automotive. Diana has shared her expertise to large audiences at various international events such as CIIMM Congreso by Instituto Tecnologico de Hermosillo. Diana was Keynote speaker for SHPetinas Region 5 Conference 2021. She received the ICCTA Pacesetter award in 2020 and is a contributing-author in Hispanic Stars Rising: A New Face of Power.
