Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jalissa Tello is a dynamic leader with a passion for technical efficiency and process implementation. A graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology, Jalissa initially built a successful marketing agency before discovering her true calling in Software Engineering and Machine Learning.
Currently serving as the Director of Operations at a woman-owned law firm, Jalissa leverages her expertise to enhance organizational efficiency through technology and strategic process development. As a first-generation college graduate and the proud daughter of immigrant parents, she is deeply committed to uplifting her community. While at Sonoma State, she co-founded the Latino Leaders program and the Seawolf Scholars program, in addition to serving as the Advertising Director for the campus newspaper.
With a strong foundation in both business and technology, Jalissa thrives at the intersection of innovation and operational excellence. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments that drive growth, learning, and opportunity for all.
