Monse López is the Community Outreach Manager for #LatinaGeeks, where she builds impactful partnerships and creates meaningful opportunities for Latinas in tech and digital fields. A proud Turkish, Mexican, and American professional, Monse brings a decade of experience across business development, employee engagement, and culture transformation.
She specializes in Project Management, Diversity & Inclusion, and Organizational Strategy, with a proven ability to lead initiatives that drive belonging, optimize operations, and spark lasting change. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA while actively seeking her next impactful, full-time opportunity in People & Culture, DEI, or Organizational Development.
Monse earned her B.A. in Music with a minor in Business from the University of San Diego, where she also founded the campus’s first Latina-based sorority chapter, Alpha Pi Sigma. She holds certifications in Project Management, DEI, and the Latina Success Leadership Program (LSLP) by MANA San Diego.
Previously, Monse served as the Diversity & Inclusion Specialist at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, where she led company-wide DEI strategies, programming, and cultural initiatives. Whether guiding organizational change or community connection, she leads with empathy, authenticity, and bold strategy.
Outside the workplace, Monse is a multi-faceted creative: an award-winning independent singer-songwriter, mariachi vocalist, dancer, and devoted mom. She’s passionate about empowering others, creating inclusive spaces, and building community with heart.
