Rosa María is an accomplished executive who is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of life. She has received national and regional recognition, including from Coors Light Lideres, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global), Sharp HealthCare and is the CEO and Founder of The Vida Effect, LLC
She is also a community leader, who currently serves on the board at LEAD San Diego and the Association of Fundraising Professionals – San Diego Chapter, and a proud alumna of Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE), University of Southern California / UC San Diego WIN Women’s Negotiation and Leadership Program, and the inaugural class of MANA de San Diego‘s Latina Success Leadership Program.
Rosa María attended San Diego State University, where she was a founding member of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Gamma Psi Chapter and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of San Diego.
Raised in Southeast San Diego, Rosa María is one of five sisters actively serving their community. Rosa María is happily married to her husband Joseph and is the proud mother of a 2-year-old daughter, Leilani Vida. Her story is one of resilience and inspiration for anyone seeking to positively impact the world.
