Veronica Corona works hard to keep it clean in Southern California office buildings. In fact, “Keeping It Clean While You Sleep” is the motto of her company, CM Cleaning Solutions, a world-class award-winning janitorial services firm headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.
Prior to starting CM Cleaning Solutions, she managed a janitorial company in Los Angeles, where she achieved over $1 Million in sales for two consecutive years. She later went on to work for another company where a customer encouraged her to start her own business. In 2009, she and her business partner did just that. With a lot of hard work, the two have grown the company to a two-million-dollar business in less than five years.
An 18-year veteran of the commercial janitorial service industry, Veronica is committed to providing personalized service. She is even known to roll up her sleeves and join a crew to ensure client satisfaction.
She attributes her drive and dedication to her parents who emigrated to the U.S. from Mexico and instilled a strong work ethic in Veronica and her three siblings. That work ethic combined with a passion for fostering relationships has led her to become an award-winning entrepreneur. She has been recognized by the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce- as a Rising Star in 2015, Mujer Destacadas by La Opinion in 2013, honored with the 2014 Latina of Influence award by Hispanic Lifestyle magazine, and Small Business Award by the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce.
With a strong desire to give back and to empower and inspire others, the bilingual Los Angeles native is active influencer in her community and serves on the boards of several non-profits, including the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as Southern Region Chair, National Latina Business Women Association (NLWBA) Advisory Board Member, City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board, Area Director for Toastmasters International District 52. She is also past president of NLWBA-Los Angeles (2012-2014) and is an Advanced Silver Communicator in Toastmasters.
She is a bestselling author of “Latina Empowerment Through Leadership” which she co-authored in collaboration with seven other women. Graduated from Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with an emphasis on accounting. An Alumni of UCLA Anderson School of Management- Development for Entrepreneurs Program (2012) and USC Marshall- Latina Executive Global Leadership Program (2015)
Her passion is to make a difference in others’ lives and journey to success. She believes that as leaders, we are world changers. When Veronica is not managing day-to-day operations of CM Cleaning Solutions, being a community leader, speaking on business panels or moderating them, you can find her spending time with her family and friends, perfecting her swing at a local golf course, movies, and/or reading.
