Job-seekers are facing a big strain during COVID-19 while job searching. Currently, total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 638,000 in October 2020, and the unemployment rate declined to 6.9 percent (Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).
Given these circumstances. #LatinaGeeks partnered up with the Grow with Google Initiative to provide a webinar on Powering Your Job Search with Google Tools. The webinar was hosted by Grow with Google’s Professional Speaker, Israel Serna. Israel walked our online audience of over 80 attendees through utilizing Google Docs and Google Sheets with best practices for organizing their job search. He also demonstrated how to use Google Search to find a job in your niche. He shared all the best tips on using the search function, including steps like filtering features that will show relevant listings from multiple job sites.
This webinar provided attendees concrete job search skills, best practices for organizing the job search experience and ways to discover career opportunities. This webinar was hosted in partnership with Grow with Google initiative who offers free trainings, tools, and resources to help people grow their skills, career, and businesses.
