Why do people tend to record violent events instead of trying to stop them?
Lala Castro, the co-founder of Latinageeks.com, a non-profit organization that empowers Latinas to embrace technology, analyzes user behavior on social networks and believes that the interest of many is to record an incident to be the first to upload it to the internet and gain likes, followers and comments, instead of helping people who are being victims.
